HISTORY OF WAFC

Welcome..........

CLUBS’ PHILOSOPHY:

Washington A.F.C are a community Club where we provide football to all. We want every child to be technically good, play to the the best of their ability, compete at a level that is suitable to them, to enjoy and to play good attacking football.Firstly, we would like to welcome you to Washington Association Football Club and give you some information about our club.We provide training for girls and boys in age groups ranging from Under 7s to Under 14s boys and by season 2016-17 we hope to have at least one team in every age division up to Under 18s. We also provide girls football and currently have teams competing at Under 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 & 18s. We are looking to increase the participation of girls football at the Club.

The Club also provides football fun sessions for Under 4s, 5s and 6s where the children can learn and develop their skills in a fun environment. They are encouraged to practice at home and at school and to enjoy the game and learn not only from the coaches but also from their heroes in the Professional game. When teams are introduced to league football at Under 7s level we believe in playing the game as it should be played in an attacking manner based on good technique and a straightforward approach.

The Club have people on board who are passionate to take the Club forward in a new direction. The coaches all work hard to ensure that every child continues to develop their skills and undertsanding of the game further. Every coach is fully qualified and crb checked. Football is a simple game which can offer years of enjoyment and fulfilment. Here at Washington A.F.C. we offer a community club for the parents and players to allow you to enjoy the beautiful game.

If you wish to join our club or require any more information please do not hesitate to contact us.
